Pressed Powder of Naturactor Review

Hello Beauties I am very happy to provide you with this review of Naturactor Pressed Powder.

I have been searching high and low for a pressed powder  that  will not only match my skin tone but also suited for my sensitive skin . It seems that I visit the beauty section of my local pharmacy every month looking for a new pressed powder. I've tried different all the major brands of powder  before, but they do not match my skin tone and do not provide even coverage. And then one day a good friend of mine recommend this Naturactor Pressed Powder and gave this site www.naturactorfoundation.com . So I checked that site, within that day I also read some blogs or reviews and celebrities who are using this naturactor pressed powder talking about this naturactor pressed powder. All of them claimed that this natucractor is really works for them that’s why in the next day I purchased to get a sample of this naturactor pressed powder, and it took 12 days before I received the product.

My experience with the Naturactor Pressed Powder

Onto the real test, I used a sponge or powder puff as well to achieve an even higher mattifying effect especially if my skin is oily to very oily. Whether it really does keep my skin matte. Well, I’m not gonna lie. My face doesn’t stay completely matte throughout the day that’s for sure but it does keep my face matte a lot longer than most of the other powders I have even the high-end ones. With Stay Matte, I only have to blot slightly maybe once in the late afternoon and that’s about it. It really did impress me and definitely exceeded my expectation in terms of keeping my face shine-free for a long period of time. This Naturactor Pressed Powder has abosolute coverage so it's not going to cover up any imperfections nor will it make the appearance of large pores any smaller. Before to achieve such results,i need to use stay matte with the makeup base/primer and good concealer/foundation, but with this naturactor pressed powder it can be used on its own primer, amazing right?

The Naturactor Pressed Powder is a typical pressed powder foundation and is nice and pigmented.  What I like is that it is really easy to apply and gives a nice amount of coverage. I don’t have to use a lot to get a really nice, matte look.  And right now since I am using tinted moisturizers and BB creams, it provides a little extra coverage.  So those days that I’m not entirely confident with my skin, this Naturactor Pressed Powder gives me that extra boost of confidence.  It evens out my skin tone nicely, and since it is so pigmented I don’t use a lot of the product, making me think it will last longer than other powders I’ve used before.  What I don’t like is that it doesn’t stay on my skin very long.  I find my forehead is getting oilier faster than it was when I was using my Wet ‘n Wild.  But it doesn't matter. The good thing is this Naturactor Pressed Powder is suited for my sensitive skin and match for my skin tone.

There are four available shades which are:
#430: pinkish shade - suitable for very fair skin
#441: for malay fair skin
#451: for typical malay skin
#470: white shade/ can be concealer

The result after using naturactor pressed powder

                                                    Before

After

As you can see at the right picture, it absorb the oily in my face my pores get smaller it blends nicely in my face and does not look powdery or chalky. What a great product it is!

Like
  •      Easy to apply
  • I can be used on its own (primer)
  • It easily hides blemishes, dark spots has a good coverage
  • It provide a matte-like appearance
  • This makes it the ideal choice for people with oily skin -- it doesn't add more shine to the face or clog pores
  • It is good for sensitive skin with natural herbal essence.

Dislike
  • Expensive
  • Available online only

Overall, this naturactor pressed powder is a nice product and I don’t have any complaints, except for the price.  I like the fact that I can wear it alone and have nice coverage but wear it with a tinted moisturizer and have a medium coverage.  Also, I like the fact that I dont have to use a lot of the product so I feel like it will last me longer.

Love Rose!!

MAC x Rihanna: Riri Woo Lipstick Review

Hello readers!
Are you still on the hunt for your HG red lipstick? Maybe it’s time for you to check out MAC X Rihanna’s lipstick, Riri Woo!

When this lipstick was first launched in the US last May, it SOLD OUT IN THREE HOURS. It was that hyped! Haha But I think there’s more to this cool-toned retro-matte lipstick!
Riri Woo is Rihanna’s take on Ruby Woo, which is the shade it was inspired from. It might be the same when you look at both lipsticks from the tube but people who have actually compared the two lipsticks say there’s a difference in terms of undertone, brightness, and sheen. Now, I don’t have Ruby Woo so I can’t tell you whether they really are different or not. XD But here’s an interesting post comparing the two lipsticks.
Here are some photos of the Riri Woo Lipstick.

An attempt to make “artistic” photos of Riri Woo. Hahaha
To give you an idea of how it looks like on actual lips, here’s a photo of moi! With and without the lipstick. :)

This is just a light application of Riri Woo. A more intense, bright red color can be achieved with more swipes of the lipstick.
Application:
When it comes to application, this lipstick is dry dry dry. It’s difficult to apply with a brush and when applied straight from the tube, I feel like it tugs on my lips! But despite that, the color looks beautiful! Best apply a thin layer of lip balm to prevent lips from getting too dry!
Wear:
In terms of wear, Riri Woo can last for hours! The color is amazing on olive skin toned ladies like me even though this is a cool-toned lipstick. I think I can wear this everyday and on different occasions. Color payoff is great, as expected of MAC lipsticks. =) This lipstick did not bleed on my lips. I guess this is because it has a matte lipstick.
Price:
I bought my tube from maccosmetics.com priced at $15. If you buy this in our local MAC stores, it would probably cost more but I have no idea how much and whether it is available / sold out at the moment. Despite that, there are a lot of online stores offering Riri Woo. Let me know if you would like to have your own tube so I can refer you to these online stores! :)
Red is a fun color to wear but it can be intimidating, too! If you’re on the lookout for red lipsticks, add this to your list! Riri Woo is a great color but if you already have Ruby Woo, I wouldn’t recommend this unless you’re a MAC lipstick collector. hihi =)
